SaveFranklin.org is officially live — a new home for information, updates, ideas, and community involvement around the future of the former Franklin Reservoir.

We created this site because this little patch of open land has sparked a much bigger conversation about what Sherrelwood needs and what’s still possible here. SaveFranklin.org will bring together project information, public documents, community voices, and ways to get involved, all in one place.

Yes, the immediate goal is to explore every opportunity to preserve Franklin as open space. But this is also about imagining what this land could become: a place for trees, wildlife, neighbors, kids, fresh air, and a little breathing room in a community that has grown a lot over the years.

There’s plenty of work ahead, but there’s also a real opportunity to think creatively about the future of this space and to make sure Sherrelwood has a voice in what comes next.
